Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility Wildlife Guide

Wild animals in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility need not stay wild. If you talk to them and give them their favorite gifts, they may come to trust you enough to consent to be your pets. Here you will find the locations of the various animals, what they like, and whether or not they’re tamable.

The mechanics are the same as befriending anyone in Harvest Moon games: talk to them daily, and give them gifts. It can take a while for them to come to trust you, so be patient. You need six relationship hearts before they will consider becoming your pet.

Be aware that when you do get the dialogue asking if you want it to be your pet, that will be the only chance you will get to adopt it. Be ready to say yes if having this animal as your pet is your goal.

How Many Pets You Can Have, and Other Info

You can have pets equal to the level of your house. So in a level one home, you can have one pet. In level five house, you can have five pets.

If you change your mind about a pet after taming it, you can let it go.

After taming a pet, you are no longer able to give it gifts. You can take it on walks, though.

At four relationship hearts an animal will come to your house to give you a gift. This will be something the animal likes or loves.

Wild snakes and birds aren’t tamable.
